The Brain that Changes Itself

If you’ve ever thought that positive thinking, law of attraction and all the hype about changing your circumstances by changing your thoughts are mumbo jumbo, then this might be the book for you. This is the rational, scientific argument for positive thinking!

I’ve been looking for a book like this for a while. Something that would “prove” what I know intuitively – that our brains and minds are capable of so much more than we believe and that our beliefs are what stops us reaching our potential. The book doesn’t actually examine the impact of  limiting beliefs but does take a look at negative influences like porn and how the porn industry is literally changing men’s brains.

There are several moving and inspiring stories in the book and depending on your personal experiences and interests, some stories will resonate more than others.  These amazing stories include ones about the girl with half a brain who has managed to function normally, a girl who was labelled retarded who managed to cure herself, an elderly man who managed to reverse his memory loss and stroke victims who learn to move and talk again.

This is a highly recommended read!

  1. Very interesting article. I totally agree. I believe that with all the negativity we are exposed to daily, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, does have an impact on us, however, it is up to us to get into the habit (not always easy in the real world) of thinking positive. Our belief can move mountains and think us well from near death, if only we give ourselves the chance to believe. Will add the book to my wishlist – THANK YOU!
